A firefighter sprays water on a grass fire below Wineglass Mountain just after dark Friday evening, Feb. 26. The fire, sparked by embers from a chimney, burned 35 to 40 acres of grass and threatened one home, according to Dann Babcox, acting chief of Park County Rural Fire District No. 1. Three homes were evacuated, but there were no injuries or damaged structures, Babcox said. For more, see the story below.
