James L. “Jim” Seely, 71, of Crete, Neb., passed away Feb. 9, 2012, at home. He was born Nov. 7, 1940, to Perry and Eva Seely in Minnesota. The family later moved to Livingston, where Jim graduated from Park County High School.

Ken Hoovestol, 74, died Jan. 30, 2012, in his Helena apartment, from an apparent heart attack. He was born 1937 in Dunn Center, N.D., and grew up in the Devils Lake, N.D. area before moving in 1947 to Livingston, where he later graduated from high school. He was active in the Livingston Jaycees
